This is an analysis of The Kooks, AC/DC and Foo Fighters digipaks:
The Kooks are a rock band from Brighton, and are very successful. They differ from the two band below because of the style that they play, they use light guitar and bass effects and have more of an indie rock sound. They are also represented as being messy and wearing dark modern clothing, this makes them unique and differ from the other two bands.
AC/DC are a hard rock band that from Australia and were very successful. Their style of playing is very unique and comes across as being very wreck less and extreme, their songs often contain lyrics about women, alcohol and drugs. Women are sung about as sexual objects and the genre adheres to Laura Mulveys male gaze theory where women ares treated as equals but as objects.
Lastly, Foo Fighters are a post-grunge band from America. They are very successful and still are. The genre of the band is very iconic with the rough look and are often more orientated to the performance rather than the bands image.
